Building and installing Synergia2

There is more than one way to build Synergia2. Automated scripts for build Synergia2 as well as Docker containers can be found at synergia2-provisioning.

The instructions at the link below are for building Synergia2 against system-installed libraries and an installed CHEF, using makefiles generated by CMake. Only a few operating systems are currently supported by this system.

Before building Synergia 2, you almost certainly need to build and install CHEF. See CHEF build instructions, and then follow the build instructions for Synergia2, below.
