Probably oakfoam would not play like this anymore with circular patterns and now the winrate is 44%...

The win rate is not too inaccurate. The issue is more that the tree does not consider moving in the corner to be very urgent. Including larger patterns as a feature will probably address this problem as well as improving the opening. Unfortunately this is not so trivial, but it is on the todo list.
