Images and relations: Relations control the number of the same image?

Hello,

I noticed the following issue: If an image has more than one relation, the same image apears more than one time in the frontend. I'm using the latest TYPO3, media, fal and fs_media_gallery. The images are stored in a file_collection and I jump directly into that album. So when an image has 3 relations for example, I see the image 3 times in the frontend. It looks like the number of relations control the count of appereance in frontend.

are there images shown 3 times? Or only max 2 times. Did a quick search but only saw an image max 2 times. Maybe it is related to the translations. Is the metadata of some images translated?

page 5 and 6 image q.bus for example. If an image has just one relation it appears one time. Really strange.

You are sure it is the number of relation and not the number of different translations of the metadata?
