Respect visibility and right settings in FAL

When i create a album from folder i have maybee 100 images there. 3 of them i don't want to show public so I edit the corresponding images in files and restrict the access. I have 2 posbilities

1: Visibility yes/no or 2: Restrict access via Frontend Usergroup

It seems that in this case both options are not taken in cosideration. All 100 Images are shown and not 97 as espected (when i mark 3 as not visible). Would be great if this feature could be implemented so it would work the same as content elements, pages and so on.
