What is Tapinos Demo?

A demo application that demonstrates how Tapinos RDF Web Services and Tapinos JavaScript, can be used in a Grails application, in order to generate Tapinos an Open Source RDF Data Cube Viewer. The Mice Cancer data is used for this demo.

RDF source file

The RDF source file is set in grails-app/conf/spring/resources.xml

And RDF source file itself can be placed in the folder grails-app/src/java/RDF/

Getting started

To run this demo, type:

$ grails run-app

And point your browser to http://localhost:8080/tapinos-grails-demo/

Debugging tapinos-js

This application can also be used to develop and debug Tapinos JavaScript components. For this purpose, a copy of the Tapinos JavaScript files can be found in web-app/js/jqueryTapinos*. In order to switch between Tapinos packaged as a Grails plugin (tapinos-js) and the local copy of Tapinos, please edit the file grails-app/views/layouts/main.gsp.

It is strongly encouraged that your application uses the packaged plugin (tapinos-js). Do not copy Tapinos Javascript files into your application!
