AAC Codec question

With Handbrake dropping libfdk_aac support, I was curious what codec Subler uses. "Remux" uses the ffmpeg native, so I was hoping subler uses CoreAudio.

Sorry if this is a bad place to ask the question.

    Subler uses Core Audio, just like HandBrake on OS X. Even HandBrake never shipped with ffmpeg AAC or libfdk_aac on OS X.
