"destination" queue sometimes "breaks" source file

Issue #190 closed

I'm not sure if this is me or Subler.

Normally I have the Queue window open and use Cmd-O to open a source files. I add a subtitle track and browse to the .srt. I change the media kind. Then I tick add to queue. A window opens allowing me to browse and rename the destination file. Away we go and all is good.

Once in a while, the "destination" window doesn't appear and the file overwrites the source, which breaks it (for logical reasons, at least in my head). Is this me or an intermittency or ……..?

It asks you a destination only if the file you opened was not a mp4 file. Subler can edit mp4 files, so there is no need to rewrite the whole file just to change a byte. The queue is useful if you are converting a lot of files. If not you can just use save and save as in the file menu.
