RTL Subtitles won't show correctly.
Subler is great, though for Unicode SRTs (specifically RTL languages, in my case Persian), most of subtitle files I get are shown as codes, which are unreadable. Though I've seen a few SRT files that show correctly after they're added to movie using Subler, but in most cases, they get corrupt.

I have a similar issue. (Is it?) There is an italic "é" cannot display properly. Regular one (non-italic) works fine. I am not sure if it's player's issue or not. Just for your reference.

repo owner No, that's means Subler couldn't guess the correct file encoding, open it in another text editor and save it as utf-8.

Would you like to verify my .srt file? I use Notepad++ and make sure it's UTF-8 format. (At least Notepad++ says so) But it still doesn't show right correct in the film.

repo owner Yes please attach it here. Probably it went thru some wrong conversions.

- attached 1-1-1.eng.srt
Please check this out. Thank you for your time. (It's on 00:14:36)

repo owner There is a single "é" in the whole file, and the encoding detector is getting it wrong. A workaround for now is to save the file in UTF-16 and the import it in Subler.

It works! Man, you're rock! Thank you so so much.

Do you have some .srt files I can test?
