Incorrectly generated files? + Exporting srt file feature?

Issue #219 closed
Former user created an issue

Hi, two issues:

1) mp4 files that have been generated with Subler cannot be opened by other subtitle applications such as iSubtitle, Jubler or SubsFactory (although the original mp4 files can be opened without any problem) -- which is a problem because of issue no. 2:

2) Once an mp4 file has been opened, srt subtitles added, and a new file has been generated, it is not possible to edit the subtitles, neither within Subler (which would of course be a huge feature to add just like that) nor by exporting the subs to an srt file which can then be opened in another subtitle application (which I assume would be a very easy and highly usable feature to add)

The general problem is that I have generated new mp4 files where I have later noticed errors in the subtitles, but I cannot edit these without having to go through the extra work to get hold of a new srt file all over again, edit that, and then import/export again...

You can already export a subtitles track. Select the track, and go to File -> Export. Send me a file and I'll see if it's correct or not.
