Audio track and video track have different durations

I have MKV files that I want to save as M4V. I send them to the queue, and afterwards I notice that the duration of the audio and video are different, whereas they were the same before. Sometimes the duration will be off by a whole second. Is this normal

Yes, MKV doesn't store the correct track duration, just an approximation.
