FLAC audio conversion yields empty tracks
Issue #249
resolved
Steps to reproduce
- Get or create an MKV input file that contains one or more audio tracks using the FLAC codec.
- Attempt to convert the MKV to M4V, or attempt to extract and convert one of the FLAC tracks to an M4A audio file.
Expected behavior
- Expect FLAC audio to be properly re-encoded to AAC Dolby Pro Logic II @ 160 kbps
Actual behavior
- Lots of CPU time wasted as the file is seemingly re-encoded. However, the output M4V or M4A file contains empty AAC tracks of 0:00:00.000 duration.

My FLAC source is more than 2-channels and I have not tried a simple 2-channel FLAC file to determine if the bug is specific to this attribute.

repo owner Oh 96.0 KHz, I don't know if the AAC encoder can do that.
