Hangs Causing File Corruption on Mux

Issue #300 on hold
Alsatia Zevo created an issue

I've been having this problem for several months now, but it does not occur with enough consistency for me to be of much use in trying to nail down the exact problem...So far, it has only happened with x264 mp4/m4v DVD rips made with Handbrake on macOS. When opening the file in Subler, it leaves the subtitle track as vobsub, rather than auto-asking if I want to convert. What I've done in the past is drag the file onto the track listing window triggering it to ask me if I want to import any of the tracks in the file. I tick the box for the subtitle track & set it to convert to Tx3g and off we go. But since, maybe, October (?) doing this causes the file to hang indefinitely on Save, never finishing and corrupting the file and requiring a force quit to end the non-occurring save process. There have, however, been at least two maybe three instances in which this hang has not happened and Subler has simply saved the convert subtitle file as I wanted. I realize this is vague and I don't know what further information might help.

Reading and writing to the same file is unsupported. Either save the vobsub tracks to another file before importing them in the original file, or create an entirely new file with every track.
