Search for online Metadata dialog isnt pre-populated for ITunes files

Search for online Metadata dialog doesn't pull the tv show season and episode from mp4/m4v files that are correctly tagged and already in iTunes. I want to update and add to the data however because the files are already in iTunes with Organise files on, the filenames cant be parsed
