Cut / copy / paste of metadata no longer working

Between 1.4.0 and 1.4.2 it appears that ⌘V (cut), ⌘C (copy), ⌘V (paste) of Metadata items are no longer available / working. This can be confirmed by looking at the Edit menu when any "Annotation" value is selected from the Metadata pane - all common Edit commands are greyed-out / unavailable. This is a regression of a much-loved feature, as it enables Metadata to be copied between multiple open files with conveninence.
