Hello Damiano,

I am Abdullah Bilal from Turkey.

I have been looking for an application or a solution in order to hardcode a subtle onto the movie properly on my Mac.

I have recently came across Subler thanks to a video on YouTube. As soon as I watched the video, I downloaded the application and tried it. It was completely fulfilling what I expect even though it is free.

However, I had one problem that the Turkish characters such as ç,ğ,ı seem incorrectly due to lack of SRT encoding preferences. I attached a photo to demonstrate this problem.

Would it be possible for you if I ask an update?

p.s. Although I had no technical background or knowledge, I can remark that the problem may be figured out if it will be possible to choose the encoding named Turkish (Windows Latin 5).

Try to save your .srt file as UTF-16 before adding it in Subler.

Even though I recently did what you suggested, I couldn't come across what I have expected.

Do you have any other suggestion?
