App is finding artwork from thetvdb.com but isn't displaying it

Subler seems to be working normally – except that it won't show artwork when searching TheTVdb.com ...

it shows the appropriate number of images, and if you select one, it does actually download and add it to the file's metadata ... but the previews don't seem to preview!
