TheMovieDB Season issues

Recently tmdb is starting to lose it's mind over shows like Lupin III: Part V. They are calling these different series, separate seasons of the same show from 1971. I've tried to explain these things to them, but they are intent on doing this same thing with other shows which will make searching for metadata difficult/near impossible. Are you able to develop a search that will pull the different seasons as a drop down after finding the show title? This will give more flexibility when we're dealing with iTunes shows that have the "talking dead" "behind the scenes" shows between the real episodes of the show.

Example: Lupin III (search happens and you click ok) Season drop down (script pulls the available info from tmdb regarding seasons/season title) Episode drop down (script does the same thing)

Lupin III is one series with 5 season on tmdb. On iTunes, there isn't enough metadata to do what you want, it's already hard enough to get the season number and avoid duplicates, it's not possible to avoid the "behind the scenes" if they are mixed with the episodes.
