No audio track when processing a mov file created by my camera
Thank you first for this great program.
I tried to process a mov file created by my camera (Nikon compact).
- video track “H264” → passthru
- audio file “AAC, 2ch” → passthru.
Processing is fast because there is no encoding but subler creates a mp4 file with
- video track “H264”
- audio “AAC” (no 2ch mention)
When reading the mp4 file there is no sound.
When I try to understand why, the only difference with other files (for instance created by an iPhone) is the frequency : 44.1kHz (iPhone) vs 48kHz (Nikon)
When I use mp4tools (EmmGunn) processing works fine.
Is there a way to fix this?
thank you
Cyril

repo owner The file is a weird mix of mov and mp4. But I can fix it, hopefully in the next few days.

reporter hum this is probably because I use quicktime to make it short, but I think the tracks are the same. Do you want the original file (30Mo) ?
-
repo owner Yes, thanks.

47Mo but at least there is a dolphin ;)
this file was only renamed and re-dated with exiftool, so I don’t think a put any weird mp4 things in .

Can you provide me a small mov file to test?
