Fails to grab all metadata related to show, iTunes Store

I’m using v1.5.16 on macOS Mojave v10.14.5 and when searching for a later season (season 22) of South Park no results are returned. When just searching the series, seasons S0-S17E09 are correctly returned but, excluding S19E01, episodes from S17E10 on are missing.

Can you try if https://subler.org/downloads/Subler-Test.zip helps or not? Getting TV Shows with iTunes Store API is a mess. You will have better results with TheMovieDB or TheTVDB.

There is no change, I just like iTunes as the descriptions and information are all uniform and I’m now too lazy to go update my library

Also @Damiano Galassi when adding all the artwork in Subler, it actually shows up in TV, but the TV app will automatically take the first one – with no possibility to take the correct image for the season cover. Instead, the entire season will have the same “capture” from the first episode. Is it a way to change this ?

Mrister KevinG, that’s a different issue. I brought this up with him and there isn’t much he can do as he doesn’t write the Apple TV App. I believe that a majority of the issues are not metadata related.
