Importing .mkv files into .mp4 leads to corrupt timecode and unplayable file
Subler 1.6.9
Mac OS - any version (tested on 10.11 and 10.14)
I’ve noticed lately that when you import an .mkv video (for me they have always been longer than 60 minutes) into Subler and Save As… with 64 bits chunk offset checked, that the resulting mp4 file has tracks that are messed up with their timecode.
If I just use the ffmpeg command line to convert an mkv to mp4 like ffmpeg -i file.mkv -vcodec copy -acodec copy file.mp4 it never has this problem.
This only started recently, I never had the problem before with Subler so perhaps it’s an issue with the latest version? It happens on multiple different .mkv files.

reporter This bugs leads to crazy timecodes on the video file making it unplayable.

repo owner Could be a regression, but I need a way to reproduce this to create a fix.
-
repo owner Can you share a mkv file or describe how to recreate a mkv file to reproduce the issue?
-
reporter I haven’t been able to replicate it recently and the mkv file that I used I deleted it and no longer have it. If it happens again I will share it with you.

Damiano, I want thank you for your prompt resolution of this problem. I sent you the problem files yesterday at 9:49AM and with this information you notified me today at 5:24AM that the problem had been fixed. I did the software update, tried the problem files and confirmed that the problem is fixed.
Thank you for you prompt effort and obvious skills and knowledge. This would never have been resolved this quickly, or at all, in a commercial product.

The video track has a correct duration but the audio track ended up having a crazy timecode.
