new
The HEVC file was encoder from Apple Compressor.
I add srt subtitle (or edit Metedata) would damage file. and that file can’t preview or play with QuickTime X.
OS: macOS Monterey 12.1 (12.2 beta)
Subler: 1.7.1 and 1.7.2

repo owner That mp4 is weird, it has got many duplicated tags. Was it straight out from Compressor?
Anyway, as a workaround you can create a new empty document in Subler and import that mp4 into it.

reporter - I use “permute 3” transcode to H.264 from mkv. then, use Subler edit metadata.
finally, use Compressor transcode to HEVC. - Thanks very much, I fix this problem, now.
