How does "Send to iTunes" work?

Is there any documentation on how to get “Send to iTunes” to work? No matter what I try I can’t get Subler to add the converted video to iTunes. Is there a specific set of steps one needs to follow in order for “Send to iTunes” to work? Currently I’m only able to select “Send to Queue”. How/when is “Send to iTunes” activated/enabled?
Subler 1.7.3 on OS X 10.14.6

When the selected document has got no unsaved changes.
Save and then it should work. It just tell iTunes/TV app to open the file anyway.
