Enhanced TMDb matching
Issue #701
new
Quite often the metadata search fails although a TMDb entry does exist under the exact same name via Google. It would be nice if instead of an explizit title one could also enter the TMDB-Id of a movie to fetch its metadata.
It would also be helpful if one could enter the release date in the form “(2001)” or “y:2001” to cut down very long lists.

By the way, this would be extremely simple. If the search term is numeric, then just issue a query for the movie details like so:
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/343611?api_key={api_key}
instead of issuing a search like so:
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key={api_key}&query=Jack+Reacher
