Installation using pip does not work

I tried to install resfinder using the command pip install resfinder. But I receive the error message:

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement resfinder (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for resfinder

Dear Mr/Mrs,

I believe this is an issue with your setup. Please make sure you are using an appropriate version of python. ResFinder requires python >= 3.8
