kma: Permission denied

Issue #97 closed
Former user created an issue

I'm trying to install and use the resFinder tool. I downloaded kma and now trying to use INSTALL.py in resfinder, but getting a permission denied error. When I try to use the path to kma in the command itself, I also get a permission denied error: /bin/sh: 1: kma: Permission denied

I've already set chmod 777 on kma folder and on its contents, and I've tried to install kma into various different folders. Still same. What could it be?

    Dear User,

    thank you for your message.

Did you try adding the path to the kma_index file in the bash command itself? (e.g. python3 INSTALL.py /{folder_path}/kma/kma_index)

I will investigate this issue further - please let me know if the above command worked for you.

    Best regards

    Eddy
