->like() not working correctly or bad documentation

I find it disrespectful to delete a question without answering it first. It was asked/opened for a reason.

Since I used examples from WIKI, class either produces invalid SQL - omitting "WHERE" or documentation is bad/unclear.

Thanks for the product, anyway.
