Merged in fix_faceted_sphere (pull request #371)
This PR fixes some the faceted sphere overlap check, which produced overlapping configurations even when the cut planes are not intersecting.
I will try to add more comprehensive unit testing.
The PR should be merged after 'improve_implicit_new_gpu_kernel'
