Auto Deployment

Looking to auto-deploy with Group Policy.

I can copy the files, and set several filetype associations, but manually creating all the classes and default app is daunting. Is there a command line or deployable version that could allow the "Add to Default Programs" to be done automatically?

You are right for the fact there are tons of registry keys required.

Try --makeavailable. I have not tested it in a while - it will create the registry keys for all users on a system.

I'm following up on this one. Did --makeavailable work for you?

Also, I had never thought of deployment like this. I don't know enough about GPOs to test it myself - although I am trying to learn it a bit. Pretty neat idea.
