Feature suggestion: stay open (in tray)

Hi. BrowserChooser2 is just what I was looking for, but I would love if it could stay permanently open (using resources as little as possible, of course). I don't know if it's just a local hardware performance issue of mine or not, but when I click a link BrowserChooser2 takes... too... long... to show the choosing dialog. I think it would be faster if it stayed running, with a tray icon for instance. How about this idea?

(I unsure as to tag this as "proposal" or "enhancement"...)
