reporter I've discovered the solution. You have to tick the box "is Edge?" inside the settings which by default came unchecked in latest version. follow the numerated instructions in the screenshot attached to this comment and the issues should be resolved.

Fernando, thank you! That fixed the problem. So the bug is really Edge not being detected.

Hi All
First of all, many thanks for this very nice tool.
I have the issue on my system; I recently installed BrowserChooser2 on my system and Edge never worked correctly.
I tried the isEdge setting but that does not work on my system.
I have checked (with Process Monitor from Sysinternals) which command line is sent to explorer.exe and this is the following one:
explorer.exe" microsoft-edge: "URL"
Like this, this opens the search window in Edge
If I type
explorer.exe" microsoft-edge:"URL"
(no space between “edge:” and the URL), then Edge opens correctly the website.here are the settings for edge in my configuration file.
<Browser> <GUID>38c0305e-54a2-4136-b5e7-a4d3eb93e928</GUID> <Name>Edge</Name> <Category>Browsers</Category> <Target>C:\Windows\explorer.exe</Target> <IconIndex>0</IconIndex> <Image>(Custom)</Image> <CustomImagePath>C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Assets\MicrosoftEdgeSquare44x44.targetsize-48_altform-unplated.png</CustomImagePath> <IsActive>false</IsActive> <Hotkey>50</Hotkey> <PosX>3</PosX> <PosY>1</PosY> <IsIE>false</IsIE> <IsEdge>true</IsEdge> <Arguments>microsoft-edge:</Arguments> <Scale>1</Scale> <Shown>true</Shown> </Browser>
Any idea what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

I'm also seeing this same behavior. Newly installed for first time today.
