Image upload issue when the site is closed by Basic Auth

Sergey Kambalin repo owner created an issue

In process of creating a new photo from attached image- the system copies the source file by url. If the site is protected by Basic Auth, the copy will fail. Need to find a way to copy by file path - not url.
