Control Freak: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

ControlFreak is stopping 'git push' to go through. It fails with the error

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: null

i tried to disable the plugin at the repo/project level but that didnt help. Atlast had to disable it completely for the teams to push their commits. Any help would be appreciated.

I think this should be fixed in versions v2020.04.09 or newer of Control Freak.
