License Incompatible on Bitbucket Data Center

Hi,

The other day we converted our Bitbucket Server to Bitbucket Data Center, but now PR-Booster stopped working. In “Manage apps” PR-Booster is now flagged as “License Incompatible”. Als when I click on PR-Booster the accordion no longer expands.

If I go to the URLs about data center it gives me a 404.

Also because the accordion isn’t even loading I’m also prevented now from disabling and uninstalling the app and I also can’t update the license anymore.

Ok, thanks to Atlassian support I did manage to open the accordion by going to “Settings” (in the bottom of the “Manage apps” page) and disabling “Connect to the Atlassian Marketplace”. That allows me again to update the license, uninstall or disable the app or otherwise manage it. The license problem is still there though, it says it requires a Data Center license even though at the moment it’s not possible to buy a Data Center license for PR-Booster.

We are re-doing DC certification, but expect it will take a few weeks for Atlassian to review our load-testing data. In the meantime “trial licenses” do work. Please do not hesitate to grab a 30 day evaluation license for PR-Booster while we fix this. Evaluation licenses work on DC and Server and have unlimited users.

You can bring back the accordion if you go to “Manage Apps” → “Upload app” → and then in the URL box put this url: https://bit-booster.com/releases/pr-booster-2022.01.02.jar

That way you can force your DC instance to take the “Server” version of the app. That in turn resolves the accordion issue (which I claim is 51% Atlassian’s fault - UPM is blowing up on a REST request it doesn’t expect to fail with a 404, and DC apps that lose DC certification 404 on that URL !).

The latest versions of PR-Booster, Control-Freak, and Commit-Graph are all DC compatible now.
