Authorship Policy enhancement

Our Bitbucket environment is changed frequently by the user's DisplayName. Therefore, to push, you need to change git's user.name to DisplayName. How do I check only the email in Authorship Policy? If not, please add features.

Your idea makes sense, and I can understand how in some environments this would be desirable.

But we will not be implementing this. Because the commit data becomes permanent and immutable, we believe it’s best to force users to always configure their git client to use exactly the same personal data as Active Directory at the moment the commit is created, including display name.

We are also trying hard to resist adding any extra configuration to Control Freak unless absolutely necessary, since things have gotten pretty complicated as it is!
