Navigation Coordinate System

When we run a navigation task,we need to choose a coordinate system at first. Here comes some: 1. ECEF(earth-centered-earth-fxed), 2. Navigation coordinate system or NED(north-east-down), 3. World coordinate system(arbitrary origin and direction).
Which one does gtsam choose in IMU preintegration, and GPS/IMU integration, respectively?

Short answer: read the code and esp. parameters and docs of IMU factor.
