Pasting in numbers/calculations followed by blank lines makes all text invisible inside

Pasted in an expression with two blank lines from notepad like this:

Once you do that, all text will be invisible in that field despite pressing backspace or deleting it all. The only way to fix it is by closing and reopening speedcrunch
