i dont want certain variables to be removed after clearing history

all variables get removed after clearing history i want certain variables to be permanent to speedup my writing speed/calculations (i shorten certain units to two letters or less) how about creating a "variables.ini" file in program directory to autoload said variables? or create an option to specify what gets removed after closing the program/clearing manually
