I use calc.exe a lot to quickly switch between hex, bin and dec.
The keys F5 through F8 change the display could the same be done here?

I notice that F6 is used to select input, but "ctrl+A" or "Home,Shift+End"
do the trick nicely for this.

    ``` Thank you for the suggestion. This actually makes sense. I get no complains here, I'll change the current expression selector F6 to Ctrl+A and
    F5 - Bin F6 - Oct F7 - Dec F8 - Hex
    F9 - Rad F10 - Deg
    Edited the title. ```
    ``` Implemented in trunk (revision 961), will be available for 0.10. Also re-factored the View menu, now Base and more user-friendly. There will be another menu for choosing the angle unit, with the above mentioned shortcuts. ```

    ``` This is very handy. :) Could you also change the behaviour of F7 so that the decimal sub-format (general, engineering, etc.) is preserved? Right now F7 switches to general, so the sub-format setting is clobbered. ```
