Book-Enhancement
Originally reported on Google Code with ID 182 ``` Hi to all,
Something like the constants menu would be interesting to include a list with element physic properties like density, mechanical characteristics (modulus of elasticity, modulus of rigidity,...) Other not less important thing to have would be a compendium of structural beams and standard profiles with values of area, perimeter, moments of inertia,...) like in this page http://www.stad.fr/poutrelles.php?lng=en#result
The usefulness of it could be as a mere list to look for something or to use a value in the middle of other calculations the user could be doing at that moment (calculate weight of a profile knowing its area -new or standard one).
I'm sure lots of architects/engineers would be happy with such addition.
What do you think about that? ```

Is it possible to make more formels with explaning pictures inside the math book? I think so that it is possible as i see the math book it is written in html right? Can some one explain me how to make this? Another possible idea could be that you can add mathbooks depending on what you need. Maybe it could be nice to be able to download mathbooks to this great program.
I am a designer of steel constructions and machines and i could be nice to have all the formels with explaning pictures inside of this fantastic great program.
Thank you in advance!
Hope for update soon.
Best Regards
elfert

Take a look here: http://gitorious.org/projects/speedcrunch/repos/mainline/trees/master/src/books/templates
Just take one of the existing and change accordingly. Images (and original SVG's) available here: http://gitorious.org/projects/speedcrunch/repos/mainline/trees/master/src/books/images
You can upload it here or send it to our mailing list. Thanks a lot. ```

``` It was our intention to solicit comments like these. The mathbook is an example what could be done in a great variety of fields. Just go ahead and develop the contents that suit your need. ```
