    ``` Thanks for your report. Your keyboard driver merges two keystrokes '^' and '2' into a single unicode character '²', which is not recognized by the parser and seemingly simply discarded. Use the keystrokes '^', ' ' and '2' to produce ^2, or use as an alias for the difficult to type '^'. Maybe, discarding an unrecognized character is not good behaviour, but the parser as a whole has to be replaced anyway. There are several issues related to it, the solution is known, and this issue does not add significantly more insight, so I amrk it as a duplicate. ```
