speedcrunch does not get focus on launch
Originally reported on Google Code with ID 282
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch speedcrunch
2. observe that we CAN NOT Type right away
3. one has to click on speedcrunch then type to do calculation.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. launch kcalc (install if required)
2. type numbers, and we can see that our input is accepted by kcalc instantly
3. but with speedcrunch, input is not received by the program due to window focus.
4. I tried fiddling with Always on top, Focus Stealing prevention to none in kwin's
advanced
settings but, it won't work.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
speedcrunch 0.10.1, on Kubuntu Jaunty 9.04, KDE 4.2.2
Please provide any additional information below.
Though this focus lacking bug is minor but is very annoying, because we would like
to
calculate instantly by using the numeric keypad, switching to mouse clicking and then
typing the numbers hampers the workflow.
Thanks.

Account Deleted ``` I can confirm this issue on Fedora 11 updated to the latest KDE. If I use qalculate it gets the focus immediately after launch. Perhaps this is a GTK vs QT4 issue? ```

Right-Click on the speedcrunch.desktop (or menueditor) "icon settings"->"Application"->"Advanced Options"->"[x]Place in System Tray" in KDE fixes the focus. ```

``` Hi. Have you been able to reproduce the same behavior on any other Linux distribution? Even a lower version of Kubuntu. I couldn't on any distro I got my hands on (couldn't find a Jaunthy one). This sounds like a Jaunty issue, maybe in Qt or KDE. ```
