The percent calculation does not work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Doing a basic calculation to add % percentage.
2.5+5%= (wrong calculation)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: 5.25  What I'm getting: 5.05

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
