Former user created an issue 2016-09-04

For example 2^2 works, but 2² does not. In european keyboards with dead keys ² (or ³ whatever) is faster and simpler to type than ^2 or ^3.

It does not give an error, but just calculates wrong.

Hi. Which version are you on? Superscript exponents have been working since 0.11 only, and have been improved in upcoming 0.12.

Since the result display's background alternates in color, this is an old version.
