Perform calculations inside the clipboard

I think a rather simple to implement, yet very powerful feature would be to have speedcrunch (as an option) to monitor the clipboard and perform calculations therein:

If a calculation is found in the clipboard (an expression that can be correctly evaluated), the clipboard contents are replaced with the output this expression generates. Speedcrunch could show this calculation in the history, but the speedcrunch window should not take the focus.

This would offer calculations in any input field by just typing in the equation, copying the string and pasting the result.
