Color schemes menu not working
Issue #818
wontfix
Using latest Ubuntu version 17.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad E470.
The color schemes menu under View menu does not have any items inside it. The list is empty.
The problem does not occur if i download and install from the website. But problem exists if i use the PPA repository install.

Yes, I agree. If SpeedCrunch is installed via Discover using the normal way of software install in Kubuntu, Schemes menu is empty.

I wrote a quick script to download the color schemes in the git repository and install them for the current user. You can find it here. It may also be helpful for future users who want the latest themes, but aren't running the bleeding edge.

I can't reproduce the problem with the version from the PPA (https://launchpad.net/~fkrull/+archive/ubuntu/speedcrunch-daily) on Ubuntu 17.10.
The normal package in Ubuntu 17.10 (without the PPA) has that issue, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/speedcrunch/+bug/1729575. Due to the way Ubuntu's universe component works, no one can effectively fix that.
