Does not always (re-)launch to foreground (Win10)

Issue #960 new

I LOVE SpeedCrunch and use it multiple times a day. Eg; I launch it pretty frequently. I'm launching in one of two ways; * Win-R (run), enter "cal" (which points to a shortcut to SpeedCrunch.exe in %path%), ENTER * calculator button on keyboard, remapped to launch SpeedCrunch.exe

Sometimes this works as expected; SpeedCrunch opens and I get focus in the input field. However — more often, it launches but the window does not come to foreground, and does not get focus. Then I need to Alt-TAB (it appears what feels to be a random spot in the app order, or maybe, often second to last??) or use mouse to get to it. Creates friction :)

Run a pretty standard Win10-64 install, no custom window manager etc (but Norwegian locale FWIW). SpeedCrunch 0.11 portable. Before reporting I also upgraded to 0.12 portable. Same thing here.

Sorry abt formatting above (bitbucket n00b…) - just a bit clearer:

I think this is an issue with W10 (one of many, many issues with the OS). I’ve noticed it with other apps as well, including PowerToy Calc, which worked fine in W7 but does this 99% of the time (if not 100%) in W10. MS seems to have broken focusing in W10.

(might have logged in with new account, I’m still topic starter)

Let me know if I can help verify anything. This is still bugging me a bit, and I have yet to find other Windows apps that does handle focus in this way (eg; switches to the app visually, but still doesn’t take input to the window).
