Adding an option to replace Windows Calculator

My request in a nutshell:

We need an option in SpeedCrunch to set it as the default calculator. By “default” I mean that I need it to popup when I type “calc” in the Run or press the keyboard calculator button.

Boring long details:

When I first installed SpeedCrunch it automatically replaced Windows Calculator, I don’t know why and how, but it did! After a few days Windows has reverted the configuration and Windows Calculator returned as the default calculator!

I tried several ways to return SpeedCrunch as the default calculator:

1. Reinstalling the app did not help.
2. Default Apps screen: no option for this
3. Default Apps by Protocol:
   url:calculator : although SpeedCrunch is set there it does not launch automatically
   url:ms-calculator: only Windows Calculator available as an option
