Having to interrupt song playback after midi overdub

It would be pretty awesome to not have to end song playback when you are done with midi overdub on a clip. So that when you are done overdubbing a clip you can smoothly continue with the song, without interrupting it. It would be critical to have, when you have a clip and you want to overdub it when you are in a live setting.
