    opposed to that i would prefer a much smaller interface, reducing the width of the clips to just the play/stop-button and some text (practical when performing)

    There have not been any requests for a larger (zoomed-in) user interface so far. I also don't need it anymore, so I close this now. @AlStu Your request for a smaller interface seems to be a duplicate of #19 (which I still plan to implement).
