Master Track - can't find owning track error

When instantiating ReaLearn on the master track I get the message in a ReaScript console output window that "ReaLearn is not going to work properly because it couldn't find the owning track. Please report this bug to [e-mail]. Thanks!" Reaper 5.941 64bit, Mac OS 10.12.6 (on multiple machines). 100% replicable.
